ESTUDYANTEprenuer: A Day at the TLE Booth

    

    The colorful exhibit at the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) booth caught my attention as I made my way through the crowded path of the school's yearly booth. I walked over, eager to explore and find out more about what was actually being taught, fascinated by the variety of projects and activities on the TLE booth.

    

    I was welcomed to the booth by passionate teachers and students who excitedly went over each exhibit and led us through the booth's exploration. The officers of the TLE Club were present to provide us with guidance and a thorough review of the program's content. As I looked around the booth, I got excited to see so many entertaining activities.

    The experience of seeing the teachers and students sell delicious food was one of the enjoyable activities of my visit. Given that cooking is a component of TLE, it stands to reason that the students would sell a lot of food. They sell a wide range of Chips, Mais con yelo, Lumpia, Miki, Pipian, and many more.

    After the food area, I looked into other parts of TLE, such as technology. For example, there was a task where you could use the laptops in the booth to control and play games. Printing, film viewing, laminating, and basic repair services are also available. With teachers presenting their work and outlining the ideas behind them, each area was carefully set up. Their engagement with useful skills was motivating.

    In conclusion, I had a great time trying out all the fun activities that the TLE program has to offer during my visit to the TLE booth. It was quite enjoyable since I learned a lot about the TLE program as I explored the various areas of the booth.

A Celebration of Love

    Valentine's Day is celebrated yearly on February 14 and is widely recognized as a day embracing all forms of love. Gifts, cards, flowers, and chocolate are the most common ways we show our loved ones how much we care on Valentine's Day. Love can take on many different forms; it can appear as love between families, romantic love, friendship love, and many more. This celebration honors the true purpose of love in all of its different forms.

    On Valentine's Day itself, the world seems to gleam with an extra layer of magic. Everywhere I looked, there were expressions of love – from couples strolling hand in hand to friends sharing laughter together. I embraced the spirit of the day wholeheartedly, enjoying the shared moments of connection and affection with others this Valentine's day.

    In addition, Valentine's Day is a chance to honor the love we have for our friends . I spent the day creating new memories and remembering on treasured ones with my teachers, close friends, and fellow classmates. The day was full with fun and companionship, from meaningful talks to spontaneous activities, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the friendships that enrich my life.

    Moreover, my family and I had a small evening meal to celebrate Valentine's Day together. There is an enjoyable smell of homemade foods and the sound of laughing filling our home. We give each family member our full attention  and expressing our affection and appreciation. Our family ties are strengthened by these gestures, which can range from modest acts of kindness to sincere words of affirmation. They also help us make enduring memories that we will cherish for a long time.

    Overall, since we are to celebrate Valentine's Day, let us embrace the many forms of love and expand our understanding of it. All forms of love, it can be romantic, platonic, familial, and self-love, should be honored and celebrated. We can make Valentine's Day happier and meaningful for everyone if we define it as a day to celebrate and appreciate all forms of love. This means that let us enjoy the beauty of connection, kindness, and love in all of its expressions because this is the day of love.

Honouring Our Tradition: The Importance of Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival

    

    The lively Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival has strong roots in the Ilocano people's tradition. The province of Ilocos Sur in the Philippines hosts this annual event as a sentimental reminder of the rich history and cultures that the locals value so dearly. This festival acts as an important reminder of the lasting traditions and legacy that have been passed down through the ages. From the colorful street parades to the captivating performances showcasing traditional dances and music, Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival emphasizes the essence of Ilocano pride and culture.

    During the Kannawidan festival, I've seen many fun activities that were held by the locals in Ilocos Sur like street dancing parade, motor racing, fun run, dance craze, art competition, battle of the bands, muscle showdown, traditional games, and many more. Through these various activities, Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival provides a platform for locals to share their heritage with the world. Every aspect of the festival builds community ties and encourages visitors to understand and appreciate one another better by respecting long-standing customs and celebrating cultural diversity. Additionally, it represents the deeply held customs and values that the Ilocano people hold dearly ensuring the survival of their legacy for many more generations. 

    Furthermore, the Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival helps to advance the tourism sector in the area. Locals will profit from this since it will captivate visitors and encourage them to visit the area through the presentation of these many traditions. Local establishments like hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops will profit from them. The festival also contributes to Ilocos Sur's increased recognition as a top travel destination, bringing funds and chances for the growth of sustainable tourism.

    To sum up, the Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival demonstrates the richness of the Ilocano community's heritage and the vibrancy of its culture. The festival is an excellent example of the Ilocano people's perseverance and determination since it plays a vital role in both developing tourism and conserving and celebrating tradition. As I reflect on my insights gleaned from Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival, I am inspired by the deep sense of pride, unity, and belonging that it gives in all who participate, ensuring that its legacy will endure for generations to come.
